How to Teach English For Kids With Game And Playing


Alphabet A - Z
a. Recognise capital and lowercase letters
b. Associate letter with their common sound
c. Learn the order of letters in the alphabet
d. Build a sound vocabulary for reading
Introducing letters .first, point to the large letters, and Lowercase (for very young children you may refer to them as big and little letters) then ask children to trace the letters with a forefinger and repeat the letters name.
Game Reading Words
After the children knows the individual letters, talk about how letters work together to make words. Using the picture as clues, say each letters slowly in turn, write it right, most children eager to learn to write letters, name, words. Use the handwriting models to show the children correct way to form each letters. A Good way to practice is to write with forefinger or stick in sand placed in a shallow box. A Quick shake of the box will erase any mistake.
2. Numbers from 1 - 10
a. Recognizes numbers and numerals through 10
b. Read numbers word one to ten
c. Learn the order of numbers
d. Begin to think about adding and subtracting
Use the handwriting models to show the children, how to form numerals 1 to 10 correctly
Number stories
The Children will enjoy showing of his or her knowledge of numbers as you read favourites stories together. Some examples are: “The three pigs” snow white and the seven dwarfs.
3. Colors and Shapes
a. Identify the colors blue, red, yellow, green, gray, orange, black,
pink and brown.
b. Identify the shapes circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval,
diamond, heart, and star.
c. Build a vocabulary of colors and shapes words
Recoqnizing Colors
To Introduce blue, for example, have the children point to all the blue things in pictures of Cinderella and Other friends, repeating the word blue. Then ask the children to look around the room and find clothing, for example: You may want to explain that there ear different shades of blue : light blue, bright blue, dark blue, (For very young children, avoid several colors. Point out various objects, and have or him name the Color.
4. Animals and their babies
a. Identify common mammals and their young

c. Understand how to raer their babies.

a. Understand holidays and customs associated
b. Identify the four seasons and their related activities
c. Develop a sense of passing time and order of events
8. Simple Science
a. Understand simple science concepts

c. Classify forms of transportation according to wheter they move on land, sea or air
